The 3M Cold Shrink QT-III Termination Kit 7621-T-95 is a one-piece, non-skirted silicone rubber termination designed for solid dielectric shielded power cable rated 5 to 8.7 kV. It supports tape shield, wire shield, and UniShield® constructions, making it suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers handling medium voltage cable terminations. This kit complies with IEEE Standard 48 Class 1 for indoor and weather-protected applications and meets NEC requirements for shielding on cables above 2400 volts. Its cold shrink technology enables easy installation with a built-in high-dielectric constant (Hi-K) semi-con step-filling mastic and environmental sealing mastic, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting seal. The termination’s compact 8.5-inch installed length is ideal for confined spaces such as motors, starters, switchgear, and transformers.
