Appleton‚Ñ¢ EDS Factory Sealed Tumbler Switches are designed to provide explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof switching solutions for hazardous classified areas. These factory sealed switches confine arcing within the enclosure, preventing ignition of ignitable atmospheres during the connect and disconnect operation of lighting and light power loads. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers serving chemical, petrochemical, refinery, and other process industries, these switches ensure safe operation in environments with ignitable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts.
