The Appleton‚Ñ¢ EDS Factory Sealed Tumbler Switches are designed for use in hazardous classified areas where ignitable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts are present. These explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof switches confine arcing within the enclosure during connect and disconnect operations, making them suitable for lighting and light power load control in chemical plants, petrochemical plants, refineries, and other process industries. Ideal for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring robust safety and reliability in classified locations.
