The Appleton‚Ñ¢ EFD/EFDB and EDS Series factory sealed control stations are designed for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts are present. These explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof control stations confine arcing within the enclosure, preventing ignition of ignitable atmospheres during control operation of motors and other equipment. They are suitable for use in chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, and other process industries. The stations provide circuit control, selection, and visual indication through a variety of push buttons, selector switches, and pilot lights, making them ideal for electrical distributors, lighting solutions, wire and cable, and switchgear suppliers serving classified areas.
