The Appleton‚Ñ¢ EFD/EFDB and EDS Series factory sealed control stations are designed for use in hazardous classified areas where flammable vapors, gases, or highly combustible dusts are present. These explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof control stations confine the arcing of devices within the enclosure, preventing ignition of ignitable atmospheres during control operation of motors and other equipment. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, these units provide reliable circuit control and/or selection for remote control of motors using push buttons, selector switches, and pilot lights.
