The Appleton‚Ñ¢ EFD/EFDB and EDS Series factory sealed control stations provide explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof solutions designed for use in classified hazardous locations. These control stations confine arcing within the enclosure, preventing ignition of flammable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts during control operation of motors and other equipment. Suitable for electrical distributors, lighting solutions, wire and cable, and switchgear suppliers serving chemical, petrochemical plants, refineries, and process industries, these control stations enable remote circuit control and selection through a variety of push buttons, selector switches, and pilot lights.
