The Appleton‚Ñ¢ EFD/EFDB and EDS Series factory sealed control stations provide explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof electrical control solutions designed for classified hazardous locations. These control stations are engineered to confine arcing within the enclosure, preventing ignition of flammable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts during operation of motors and other equipment. Suitable for use in chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries, and other process industries, these control stations serve as reliable circuit control and selection devices with a variety of push buttons, selector switches, and pilot lights to assure safe and efficient motor control. Electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers rely on these solutions for their rugged, maintenance-free performance in demanding environments.
