These switches are suitable for installation in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D atmospheres, commonly found in chemical plants, petrochemical refineries, and other process industries. The nonmetallic enclosures feature a metal-imbedded grounding grid, eliminating the need for special grounding wires, and offer superior resistance to corrosive environments, ultraviolet light, and impact.
